Website Maintenance Terms & Conditions
By subscribing to a Bronze, Silver or Gold Care Plan, you agree to the terms below.
Plans at a Glance
Bronze Care – £75/month, billed on the 20th. For small sites needing essential protection.
Silver Care – £150/month, billed on the 20th. For businesses that can’t afford downtime.
Gold Care – £250/month, billed on the 20th. For mission-critical sites.
What We Do
We maintain and optimise your WordPress website according to your selected plan, using reasonable care and skill. While we aim for smooth sailing, no provider can guarantee 100% uptime or issue-free updates.
What’s Included
Bronze Care:
Weekly updates (WordPress core, plugins, themes)
Daily off-site backups with quick restore
Security monitoring and malware scans
Uptime monitoring
Email support (business hours)
Silver Care (includes everything in Bronze):
Priority support (business hours)
1 hour of content/design edits per month (does not roll over)
Performance optimisation (caching, image compression, database tidy-ups)
Monthly SEO health check (auto-generated)
Coverage for issues caused by third-party plugin/theme updates
Gold Care (includes everything in Silver):
Unlimited plugin/theme updates, tested before deployment (fair use applies; excludes rebuilds/major dev)
Full SEO reports with clear recommendations (auto-generated)
Speed optimisation with Core Web Vitals tuning
Dedicated account manager
24-hour support, 7 days a week
Support Hours
Bronze & Silver: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (UK time)
Gold: 24/7 support
Billing & Payments
Plans are billed monthly on the 20th.
Pay by card or set up Direct Debit.
Pro-rata billing: if you start or change plans mid-month, charges adjust so you only pay for the days covered.
If a payment fails, we’ll notify you. Continued non-payment may result in service suspension until resolved.
Backups & Data
We run daily off-site backups for disaster recovery. While we take every precaution, no backup process is infallible. You may keep your own backups for extra assurance.
Third-Party Plugins & Themes
Issues arising from third-party plugin or theme updates are covered under Silver and Gold only.
Gold’s unlimited updates are subject to fair use and exclude major rebuilds, custom feature development, or migrations.
Your Responsibilities
Provide timely access to your website, hosting, domain, and relevant tools.
Avoid conflicting changes by third parties without notifying us first.
Ensure your licensing for premium plugins/themes is valid unless we provide it.
Cancellation
Plans are monthly rolling.
You can cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice from the date of your written request (email accepted).
We’ll continue to provide the plan during the notice period. Pro-rata charges apply where relevant.
Liability
We’re not liable for loss of revenue, profits, data, or opportunities arising from downtime, errors, breaches, or issues caused by third-party services or force majeure.
Our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid for your maintenance plan in the preceding 3 months.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
Summary: We keep your site secure, fast, and monitored; you pay on time; if either of us needs to part ways, we do so with 30 days’ notice.
